Our Social Skills groups enhance your child’s and teenager’s language to better communicate their ideas, needs, and emotions in a practical and socially acceptable manner with typical developing peers. Social skills are meant to further improve self-awareness, language development and speech production skills. Your child’s social skills are developed at our location and/or at designated areas within the community. Off-site locations provide the opportunity for socializing while participating in activities of daily living.
Who Can Benefit from Social Skills?
Children and teenagers between the developmental ages of two and eighteen will be included in a group of four to five children according to the strengths and needs.
Children and teenagers with ( but not limited to) Language Delays, Speech Delays, PDD, Autism, Aspergers, Apraxia, Attention Deficit, Limited Opportunity to interact with peers, Stuttering, Shyness, or Social Development Needs see great improvement from our groups.
